Actually if DIM is causing problems with you its usually a sign that your hormones need to be balanced. Its a all natural safe supplement that grabs the bad estrogens and conjunctions them so they can be expelled from the body without causing as much damage hitting everything on their way out or from being reabsorbed in the liver i believe and put back into the blood stream to make you feel like crud all over again. But something that helps take away the side effects of DIM is Calcium-D-Glucarate. After its over you usually feel better like Any detox. Dim will kick in detox symptoms for about 2 or 3 weeks while it gets rid of your bad estrogens and xenoestrogens from the enviourment. I'm just reading through DIM post and just wanted to share my 2 cents. (I do not have estrogen-level problems, but I didn’t know that at the time.) If you don’t have estrogen issues, this really may not be the supplement for you. I did not consult with my OBGYN or endocrinologist prior to use. The next cycles were nowhere near as bad as when I was on the DIM. I threw the almost-full bottle in the trash. I know it was the DIM because that was the only thing in my routine I had changed. It brought my mood to a horrible place, even before the PMDD started. It made me 30x more irritable and sad than I’ve ever been in my life. I remember feeling like I had zero control over the wild, intense symptoms I was having. Within a few weeks, my symptoms were so unmanageable that the PMDD took its toll on everything, and my BF ended up breaking up with me. Just like you, I read many stellar reviews about how it eases PMDD symptoms.
